It might be useful to explicitly specify the name/username/contact information to the person who carried out the analysis. These information would later appear in the final report. Where should we provide these information?

Yes, we have very briefly discussed that and @kanitz mentioned to make a dedicated (another) config fie per every person that carries out the analyses. We did not reach a conclusion yet.
I recently ran some samples and wanted to supply analysis author and e-mail, but could not find a way to do this.
I would expect to supply this in config.yaml together with report_description.
The code for this seems to be already in workflow/scripts/zarp_multiqc_config.py and only needs to be supplied as additional parameters in rule prepare_multiqc_config.
This is more of an upstream part, I was not tracking recent design decisions which include the CLI, so I am not sure where these information should be provided anymore. I understand that we just need respective fields in the config file which will be passed to the script - if so, this is an easy fix I can add during the next hackathon.
