avoids local_dist_test.cc:110: error: no match for ‘operator!=’ in
‘tol_list_it != std::vector<_Tp, _Alloc>::rend() [with _Tp = Real,
_Alloc = std::allocator<Real>]()’ on g++ 4.0.1
